Bodjie Dasig

Music and Libretto

Where Odette made her debut as a writer for other artists, Bodjie pretty much wrote songs for himself. He never joined any songwriting contests citing the Woody Allen principle that slightly goes "if people can tell you when you're good, they can also tell you when you're bad". Not that he's not jiggy with the idea of accepting awards. In 1993, Awit Awards bestowed the "Best Performance by a Group", "Best Ballad" and "Record of the Year" awards to Bodjie for his hit song "Sana Dalawa ang Puso Ko".

Following his wife's lead, he also embarked on a career as a jingle writer and musical scorer for the advertising industry. Bodjie may be gone but his music and witty lyrics will surely live on .
